L'Oréal Professional Metal Detox
Metal Detox is a professional haircare range designed to help protect damaged and colour-treated hair from metal particles that can build up inside the hair fibre.
Copper and other metals found in water can accumulate in the hair and may contribute to dryness, breakage, colour changes and unwanted tones. Metal Detox uses L'Oréal Professionnel's patented Glicoamine technology to help neutralise metal inside the hair fibre.
The sulphate-free Metal Detox Shampoo gently cleanses while helping protect the hair from metal-related damage. It is suitable for damaged, bleached and colour-treated hair and does not contain added hydrolysed proteins in the current published ingredient list.
For extensions, it can be a good maintenance option when used correctly and according to the care requirements of the particular extension method. The shampoo should be concentrated mainly on the scalp and natural hair, while the lengths should be handled gently and thoroughly rinsed.
Follow with the Metal Detox Mask to help condition, soften and protect the lengths. The mask is designed for coloured and damaged hair and helps improve softness, shine and manageability.

How To Care For Your Adora Extensions
Brush First
Gently brush your hair before washing. Start at the ends and slowly work your way upwards.
Shampoo Your Scalp
Concentrate shampoo on your scalp and roots. Do not aggressively rub or tangle the extension lengths.
Condition The Lengths
Apply conditioner from the mid-lengths to the ends. Keep heavy conditioner away from the attachment areas.
Keep Your Extensions Moisturised
Extension hair does not receive natural oils from the scalp in the same way as your natural hair. Regular conditioning and suitable moisture-focused products can help keep the lengths feeling soft and looking beautiful.
Avoid Heavy Products At The Attachments
Keep conditioners, masks, oils and heavy treatments away from your extension attachment points unless your Adora stylist has specifically recommended them.
